On the Course
The usual information about local rules, water hazards or out of bounds are printed on the summer course card. However, some other things to mention:
The lane running alongside the 1st fairway and in front of the 17th tee is a public right of way. Please allow the occasional vehicle or pedestrians to pass out of range before teeing off.
Some greens have a blue line marked in front. Please do not take your trolley or buggy within the lines. And please give all greens and tees a wide birth at all times of the year.
The 5th hole is a par 5 and doglegs to the right and you cannot see the green from the 5th tee. The green you can see straight down the fairway is 6th green, par 3.
A ball coming to rest on an alien green or its fringe must be lifted and dropped at the nearest point of relief. N.B. A ball coming to rest on the 14th green from the 11th tee must be dropped in one of the drop zones available (Go to the right of the 14th green).
During the season there should be no restrictions, other than the times you can play, on the course. But do please check with the professional before play commences.
Finally, please make every effort to replace all divots and repair pitch marks.
We hope you have a great experience and enjoy your day at Dunscar Golf Club. We would welcome your feedback. If you enjoy our facilities, please tell others.
