Purchased a 4 ball through the N.G.C.C and wow what a wonderful surprise this was.
When we arrived to a road that leads you know or so we thought we got to the Dunscar Golf Club
We were greater by very helpful staff from the secretary and the ladies working the bar and kitchen.
They were so accommodating but all very natural and genuine.
We couldn’t get into the pro shop as he’d gone for a playing lesson with a member but on his return the shop was stocked with confectionery Etc.
Playing the course was really really enjoyable.
The fairways were cut to perfection and the greens were true and not slow a good pace: I’d have said around 9 on the stip.
The first few holes are a little up and down but they are all interesting with their own little features.
The closing 3 holes are as good as anywhere I have played all very good interesting with features; probably the 16th is their feature hole.
This course is a must from a wonderful course, lovely staff and good catering.
Definitely worth a visit

The greens weren’t just quick in pace but all very consistent and putted true. Finding the fairways can be difficult at times with the lie of the land on a few holes. But if you find your ball run off into the rough it’s of a nature that you can still advance the ball a decent distance.
Several shouts of “fore” could be heard on my round due to several holes played alongside each other so keep your eyes peeled.
Fantastic views of Winter Hill and Turton Heights you couldn’t ask for a more picturesque backdrop.
Looking forward to returning here in the near future

Course was set up very nicely, greens were quick, true and consistent. Stunning views and a great signature par 3 when you get to the 16th. Will be returning !
